Agnes Forrer Obituary

Agnes M. Forrer, 81, Topeka, went to be with her Lord on Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, at Midland Hospice House. She was born May 19, 1923, near Ottawa, the daughter of David and Alice Swank Sassaman. She had lived in Topeka since 1946. She married Harold M. Forrer on May 24, 1942, in Ottawa. They were married for 62 1/2 years. He survives, of the home. Preceding her in death was a son, Stanley H. Forrer, on June 12, 1995. Other survivors are two daughters, Rosine Feist, and her husband, Dr. William Feist, Birmingham, Ala., and Madeline Ribble, and her husband, the Rev. Terry Ribble, Dunmore, Pa.; a son, J. David Forrer, and his wife, Sheila, Holiday Island, Ark; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, Roy Sassaman, Overland Park. A funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. today at First Southern Baptist Church. Interment will be in Rochester Cemetery. Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel in North Topeka is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to First Southern Baptist Church, 1912 S.W. Gage Blvd., Topeka, Kan. 66604, or Midland Hospice Care Inc., 200 S.W. Frazier Circle, Topeka, Kan. 66606.
