Beverly Cain

Beverly A. Bev Cain Beverly A. Bev Cain, 85, of Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Midland Hospice House. She was born December 5, 1931 in Blue Rapids, Kansas, the daughter of Ora and Grace Craft. Bev and her husband owned and operated Highland Park Cleaners for many years before retiring in 1993. She was a member of the Highland Park Central PTA, the Beta Sigma Phi Business Sorority, the Soroptimist Organization and served on the Shawnee County Elections Board. Beverly married Robert V. Bob Cain on April 18, 1953 in Blue Rapids, Kansas. He survives. Other survivors include one son, Harry Cain and son, Preston of Leavenworth and Teri Cain, mother of Rylee and Ryan. Bev was preceded in death by one son, Thomas L. Cain, on May 2, 2013. Cremation has taken place. Private inurnment will take place in Fairmont Cemetery, Blue Rapids, Kansas at a later date. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2017 at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Midland Care, 200 S.W.
