We have been out of town and it is with sadness we note Craig's passing. How well we remember his wonderful stories and zest for life. Craig and Dorothy moved into the house next to us as our new neighbors upon their arrival to Topeka. They were so kind to our oldest son, Brad, such as inviting him in for some of Dorothy's cookies after a tough day in kindergarten. Also, our youngest son, Mike, was a willing subject to another of Craig's many interests...photography. We have several wonderful pictures by Craig of Mike caught in time as a 2 year old.

Great memories...wonderful neighbors...just very kind people. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

To The Family:

We at Brewster Place are already missing Craig. Nearly every day a resident mentions his name to me. I also enjoyed his friendship. I have been chaplain at BP for nearly a year. Craig was one of the first residents that I was fortunate to develop a friendship. I always marveled at the stories about his life. It was a pleasure to have known him and he will be missed greatly. Peace, Larry Hardin

Dr Yorke & Family: I was very saddened to hear about the passing of your beloved father, Craig. I was priviledged to know him while I was employed in the Main Office at Brewster Place. Craig was a hardworking, knowledgeable, caring and loving person who cared deeply for his family, his faith and his friends. I loved hearing stories about his life, he gave such pleasure to the Brewster staff and residents and will be truly missed by all. Thank you for sharing your father with me and the Brewster Place community. What a magnificent individual!

Sincerely, Debbie Baumgartner

My Mother Rosa, Brother Leonard and I, had the pleasure of meeting your Father at cousin Yvonne's several years ago. We were extremely impressed with his dignity, extrodinary life and love for his family. Our regret was that we didnot get an opportunity to meet an know him sooner. Please except our deepest, heartfelt sympathy over your loss.

Dr. Yorke, it was a pleasure to get to know your dad during his recent visits to our office (Kansas Insurance Department), and I was saddened to read of his passing. He shared many stories with me about his youth, his career, and his pride for his son and grandsons. I shared with him that you attended my mother 23 years ago when she nearly died from a closed head injury (she's alive, well, and ornery to this day). He was a delightful and gracious gentleman. To live independently with a sharp wit to such a ripe old age is a tremendous blessing. Please accept my sincere condolences.
