Dana Belle Merscham

MOUNTAINBURG, Ark. - Dana Belle Merscham, 63, Mountainburg, Ark., died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2005, at a Mountainburg hospital. Dana was a special education teacher for the Mountainburg School System, and also was a waitress at Bill Barkley's Drive-in in Alma, Ark. She attended Pigeon Creek Freewill Baptist Church in Mountainburg. She is survived by her husband, Bobby, of the home; two stepdaughters, Nancy Stover, Williamsburg, Kan., and Rebecca Merscham, Ottawa, Kan.; two sons, Bobby Nickoley, Tecumseh, Kan., and Jamie Nickoley, Topeka; a stepson, Ralph Merscham, Del Rio, Texas; a brother, Larry Porter, Princeton, Kan.; and four grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel in Van Buren, Ark. Mrs. Merscham will be cremated. No public viewing is scheduled.
