Jeffrey Wilkins Obituary

Jeffrey Cornell Wilkins, 46, of Topeka, formerly of Salina, died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004. He was born on Dec. 22, 1957, in Salina, to Clarence Howard and Jacquelyn Marie Nelson Wilkins. He served in the Army and worked as floor maintenance for Salina Regional Health Center. He had worked as a supervisor at Cardinal Janitorial Service for seven years in Topeka. He was a member of St. John's Missionary Baptist Church in Salina. He married Bridgett Shuler. She survives. Other survivors include his father, Clarence Howard Wilkins, Detroit; three daughters, Keisheona Wilkins and LaTasha Shinn, both of Topeka, and Katrina Spaulding, Long Beach, Calif.; three sons, Jeffrey Faizon Wilkins and Sterling James Wilkins, both of Topeka, and Xavier Caprice Wilkins, Salina; four sisters, Sudana Wilkins and Camille Delaughter, both of Salina, and Karen Cargil and Sharmeen Wilkins, both of Detroit; a brother, Orlando Wilkins, Detroit; and three granddaughters, Teaonie May , Salina, and Makhari and Maryiona Yates, both of Topeka. Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. today at St. John's Missionary Baptist Church in Salina with Allen D. Smith officiating. Inurnment will be private. The family requests donations to St. John's Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund, 215 S. Chicago, Salina, 67401. Online condolences may be sent to www.carslonford.com .
