I lived next to Jill in the dorms at ESU.....she was a special person, always smiling and blighting the whole hall. I loved going in to visit, to see what kind of wild ideas she had, and we had so may good times, and created so many special memories. I will miss her dearly I learned so much from her and I am honored to have known her and called her a friend. I pray that you all receive God's comfort during this difficult time.

To the Peterson family,
May you not frown, but smile in celebration of an amazing life Jill lived. She persevered when obstacles came her way and always had such faith in the human spirit and God's love and strength.
I feel blessed to have gotten reconnected with her while living in Wamego. I sure enjoyed our chats.
Jill touched so many lives and demonstrated what true fortitude is while meeting each challenge head-on.
She will be greatly missed, but I am rejoicing for her knowing that in Heaven there are NO MORE wheelchairs, walking canes, operations or pain! I know she is skipping among family smiling down on us all and watching over her supportive, loving, faithful family.

Selfishly wishing I could see Jill one more time but comforted to know that she is no longer trapped in a body that no longer worked for her. Jill, tell everyone from our Chihowa family "hey" for us. Godspeed to you, and keep the sheets ready for a toga party when the rest of us get there.
