Wonderful man with an unforgettable smile!
I remember him sitting at the kitchen table in his overalls drinking coffee and so enjoying his beautiful family.

Joe had an unforgettable smile and a heart of gold. I will never forget his kindness to me.
I hope this finds the Malone family well
I know the memories and love of Joe remains deep in their hearts.

Ahhhh . . . Joe. I've been thinking and wondering about you off and on for awhile now regretting that I didn't stop in for a visit when I was in the area a couple of years ago. During my 15 years or so that we were neighbors I learned a great deal from you and the friendship we shared. I could always count on you if there was any trouble I needed help with or for sage advice about living in the Slough Creek Valley. And mostly . . . your ever ready smile that always made everything feel just right. I'll hang on to that memory as I picture you walking in that great big Prairie in the Sky. And sweet condolences too the great big and beautiful Malone family.

Dearest Malone family,
Joe was such an awesome man. Very cool and collected. I loved his humor and smile.
This is Christine from decades ago. I used to be your neighbor while married to Daniel Dancer.
I have fond memories of being so warmly welcomed into your home by Joe and Irene.
Joe is smiling that beautiful big smile from
above.
May you find comfort and strength during this hard time.
With love and sympathy

I had the privilege of working with Joe for many years at the State of Kansas. He was a great guy to work with and learn from. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.
