To Kathy's family and to her mother Mary Barner, I'm sorry for your loss. We know first hand the loss of a child when My Wife's brother was killed in a car accident. Her parents grief is the greatest grief I have ever seen. My wife found special comfort in this verse, Isaiah 57:1 "The righteous perish, and no one ponders it in his heart; devout men are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil." I'm so very sorry to hear of Kathy's passing. I think she was an amazing person and I learned a lot while working with her. She talked about her family all the time and I know how much she loved all of you. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

To Kathy's family, I am so sorry for your loss. I know Kathy's battle with cancer was a long one. I am so glad she was able to listen in on the phone a few weeks ago during the baptisms.

Roger and Family,
I had the pleasure of working with Kathy for many years. I learned a lot from her, but most of all I learned how much she loved her husband, her kids, and God. She was a very sweet lady any will be missed. My prayers are with you all.

I know how hard it is to lose your Mama. It doesn't matter how old you are...it still hurts just the same.
I am so thankful that your Mama is no longer in any pain. She loved you all with the passion only a mother has for her children! Remember all the wonderful memories of your Mama and keep them close in the days to come to give you comfort.

Kathy was and is a beautiful person. Her spirit was strong, full of kindness and spoke of her children often. I met Kathy through Fashion Bug in which she provided an opportunity for me to work under her direction. I must tell you I enjoyed her spunk. She was always full of life and displayed a gentle heart.
I often thought of her and wondered how she was and would think about stopping by the shop just to say hi. She was that type of person that you simply could not forget. How said I was when I read her outcome in the paper. I send my sincere sympathy to her family and friends.
I will always remember her face.

DeHerrera Family, Our prayers are with you in your time of loss. I grew up with Kathy. She was my cousin and a wonderful person. She always bragged how much taller she was than me, until the day I outgrew her. But, now she stands way taller after her struggle with cancer. Remember, she has won the ultimate battle. Dear Tiffany, Jordan, Elizabeth, Dan and Brittany,
I just wanted to remind you of how proud your mom was of each of you. Whenever she spoke of any of you kids, her eyes lit up and her beautiful smile made you realize how much she loved you.
It is hard to understand the plan He has for us but I hope the days ahead are made easier remembering the love your mom had for her family and friends.

DeHerrera family- I love all of you! Kathy and I became so close this past year- I think of her as a sister. I'll miss her so much! I know Kathy is in no pain now and that comforts me in this time of sorrow. I also know she'll be in your hearts (Roger, Tiffany, Jordan, Elizabeth, Daniel, and Brittany) for the rest of your lives. God bless each of you and may he hold you close in this very difficult time of sorrow.

Roger & children, I am so sorry for your loss. At this time there is no words to help heal. Just remember that God is with you every step and that your mother is in his hands watching you from up above.
Kathy was a wonderful person to work for. She was amazing thoughtful and caring and would help anyone out. She was there for me many of times.
Just remember she will always be with you and watching over you.
