Lonnie- I have so many memories of playing Cricket and putting more holes in the wall than hitting the actual board. When I moved down the street from you, you always told me to stop by and I never did and I wish I would have. You were a great guy to be around and I am glad I met you. I know I'll see you again someday.

Larry, Linda, & Lenn-
Lonnie was a great guy, he was one of the first people I knew from Perry-Lecompton. He always had a smile on his face and I knew I could go to him for anything. Even when I was down he always knew how to bring me back up. He was a great guy and anyone would thank their lucky stars that someone like him was in their life. I'm just thankful that everyone did get to enjoy the great 24 years he had to give-which he did to the fullest.

Dear Lonnie's Family and Friends,
I am so lucky to have know Lonnie and to have lasting memories of him. Kandi is right you didn't see customers that excited about getting a new R6 like Lonnie and Adam. They are our R6 boys! It always brightened my day to see Lonnie come around that corner, cause you always knew he had a hug for you.
He has touched our lives and our hearts and we will continue to talk about all the great times we had with Lonnie.
Thanks for being the sunshine in so many lives.

We would like to offer our condolences to Lonnie's family and friends. So sorry for your loss, but keep this in mind:
A Letter From Heaven
To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say,
Though first of all to let you know I arrived OK.
I'm writing this from heaven, here I dwell with Spirit above,
Here there's no more tears of sadness, here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy because I am out of sight,
Remember I am with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
Heavens warmth covered me and said "I welcome you".
"It's good to have you back again, you were missed while you were gone,
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
We need you here so badly, you're part of our great plan,
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
Spirit gave me a list of things that were wished for me to do,
And foremost on that list - was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in your bed at night the day's chores put to flight,
Spirit and I are closest to you...in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years,
Because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry a while; it helps relieve the pain.
Remember there would no flowers unless there was some rain.
I wish I could explain to you all that Spirit has planned.
If I were to tell you, you would not understand.
One thing is for certain, though my life on earth is over,
I'm closer to you now than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb,
But together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too;
That as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and in pain,
Then you can say to me at night.."My day was not in vain".
So now I am contented...that my life was worthwhile,
Knowing as I passed along the way I made somebody smile.
So if you meet someone who is sad and feeling low;
Just lend a hand to pick him up as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps, only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go from that body to be free,
Remember you're not going...you're coming here to me.

Dear Larry, Linda and Lenn -
I'm sure there are no words to explain how you are feeling but knowing how many hearts and lifes that Lonnie touched will hopefully ease the burden that you are feeling. You should feel honored and proud of Lonnie in all the lives that he has touched in the short 24 years he was with you. As Jay would say, "He was one of my kids". He will be greatly missed.

Dear Mr.,Mrs. Hunter,Family & Friends,
My deepest sympathy goes out to family & friends during this time of your great loss. I met Lonnie through Adam & have nothing but wonderful memories of him. Lonnie was definetly the kind of guy you dont meet everyday.
I only hung out with Lonnie & his friends for a short period of 4 months, a couple years ago but Lonnie (god bless him) always kept in touch to see how I was doing.
My father would also like to send his condolences to Lonnie's family & friends. When my dad would go to Advance Auto he would only let Lonnie help him. He would come home & tell me how Lonnie hooked him up & that he really liked that kid. Lonnie even stopped by a few times when he would get off work to chat with my dad just because that was Lonnie. He had such good intensions & an open heart.
Once again my heart goes out to Lonnie's parents & close friends.
Lonnie: "I will definetly miss hearing from you, thank you for the memories."

Lonnie's family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Lonnie was one of the greatest people I have ever and will ever know. You should feel extremely blessed that you could share 24 years with such an amazing man. My prayers and thoughts will be with you forever.
Lonnie,
There will never be enough words that could ever come close to describing you as a person or a friend. I love you soooooo much! You had the biggest heart and the most amazing uplifting spirit. You would have done anything for anyone and not ever thought twice. There was never a time when you weren't there for me. I am going to miss all of our heart to heart talks, the sharing of advice and listening to how proud you were of your bike. I couldn't have asked for a better friend! Know that you have impacted every single person you have ever met. You had a way of always putting everyone in a good mood and you could just do it by your smile. Your life was short, but you will live forever in the people whom lives you've touched. I have some GREAT memories and will cherish them everyday. I am so thankful God blessed me with the years that I had with you! I know you will watch over everyone and wait for us to all get there. I LOVE YOU AND WILL FOREVER MISS YOU!

Dear Mr.,Mrs. Hunter and family,
I was the one that had the privilege to meet Lonnie when I sold him his Yamaha R-6. He and Adam was two of the most excited people in the world the day they bought those bikes. I can understand getting something new can make you excited but it didn't take long to realize that for Lonnie his excitement was for everything in life. He was always in good spirits.
He was always there to listen to me and help me out when I needed someone. He was always happy to be there for people in general and you never heard him complain about anything.
I've met alot of people in my life and never met anyone like Lonnie. Lonnie was the most caring, sensitive, considerate, and loving person. Mr. and Mrs. Hunter you have raised a wonderful young man. I'm so sorry for your lost but just know that he is in a way better place then here.
Lonnie will truely be missed.
God bless your family.

Lonnie~There is not a word or words that can come close to how far you wold go for a friend. You would always let everybody know when you got a GOOD deal on something or that you got this or that for free. Not sure what kind of strings you pulled
I will always remember you calling me about every hour to make sure i was going to come over for Monday night football and how you would beat me in pool (only happend a couple time though). Then you would tell me that you could still take me on the curves to Dover on your bike.
Lonnie was TRULY a great friend and even when he did not say anything at all he would make you smile because we all knew he had that cocky grin on his face. THANKS for letting me have the time and privilege to get to know a person like you.
Your always in a safe place in my heart Lonnie.

It seems so hard to find the right words being so far away.
I have only had the pleasure of knowing Lonnie for a few short years, but in those few short years Lonnie has become more than just a friend. He invited me into his family and became more like the little brother I never had. I never had the pleasure of knowing anyone who had such a positive impact and inspiration on so many peoples lives as Lonnie. He was always there for those around him through thick and thin. Always ready to lend a hand. It will always be a pleausre to tell those who ask that you were a best friend and brother in life.

There are not enough words in this or any language to describe the kind of person and friend that Lonnie was. In only a short 24 years he brought more joy and touched more lives than many people do in three times the years. His love was his family, his passion his friends, and his life was the joy of others. All who knew and spent time with Lonnie became better people because of him.
To Larry, Linda and Lenn who have suffered so much, I ask you now to rejoice with us. Rejoice in knowing your son affected so many people and changed so many lives. Rejoice in the good times that were good because Lonnie was there. Rejoice in his compassion, his caring, and in his never ending smile. Rejoice in his life and in his love that will never be forgotten.
Finally, to Lonnie who I am proud to call my friend. Just so we understand each other, this is not a message to tell you goodbye. This is a message telling you to get ready. You may have crossed the finish line first in this race, but one day we will meet again on a better track in a better place. Until that day my friend, keep the front wheel high and the shiny side up. You may be gone but you can never be forgotten. Your friend always,
Sammy.

Dear Loved Ones,
I have only been a member of this family for 5 + years but each of you are very special to me. I want you to know that I love you very much and will do anything for you.
Dad, Grandad & I were very saddened to learn of Lonnie's death and it is still unbelievable that the family chain has been broken and this spirited life snuffed out. Lonnie always had a smile. Lonnie may have been the first to leave a family get-together but he always took the time to hug everyone before walking out the door. We are here for each of you during the difficult days & weeks to come.
We are praying for God to grant each of us peace and understanding. We can be happy again but it will take time.
With Our Love and Blessings.

Larry & Linda - I only knew Lonnie through my cousin, Adam Hayes, but he was the type of guy that always had a smile on his face, and was such a sweet guy to be around. He used to come with Adam to lunch at our grandma's on Sunday and used to tease my son and tickle him and play around. He will be greatly missed. We are keeping your family in our thoughts and prayers.

Larry, Linda, and Family
Special Friend, Adam
I had the pleasure to meet you both on several occasions. What a wonderful son you raised. Lonnie was my apprentice for a good while at McElory's. What a job that was, he was always hard working and always striving to learn more to better himself. And what a great job he did.
Before we became neighbors Lonnie was always their to lend his always helping hands. After Lonnie and Adam's arrival on 22nd Court we all grew very close in friendship (More Like Family).
Eighty percent of the time the doorbell rang it was Lonnie needing advise or help with his pride and joy A Yamaha 600...
I remember him telling me of a new record on Riding a Wheelie almost daily... now he rides the perfect Road and Wheelie with God, someone to always ride with him.
God has a reason for everything that happens, even though we ask WHY... One day we will be with our brother again.
Lonnie you will always be in our hearts... and never forgotton...
ADAM: Lonnie's
Best Friend and Brother;
Lonnie loved you as a brother and he will always be by your side. Never ever forget the frienship you shared and all the memories you have of one another...
Lonnie my not be on this earth and has gone to a better place however; he will always be right beside you every step of the way. And let know one take that away from you. Lonnie loved you...
You are in our thoughts and prayers...

Words cannot describe how sorry I am to have been scared of such a kind person. I was scared to talk to you about Jesus, scared to invite you to church, scared to share my faith with you.
