Dear Aunt Maxine and family,
Lonnie was always a special cousin to me. He was supportive and always had a sense of humor. I am especially glad that he came to Omaha this summer. He prayed with my kids and made a positive impression on them. I'll never forget the time we almost got electrocuted in your basement. We were standing on wet cement and the cousins were holding hands, when we touched a radio. What an electrifying experience. Another memory is playing spoons or pig at your kitchen table. Lonnie always made me laugh. I love you all. Jan

Jace, what a wonderful dad you had. Lonnie supported everybody that was doing good. Any church function, you are liable to find Lonnie there. I was going through my retirement photo album and who was there in the picture talking to me was your dad. At our Pastor and wife anniversary on last month, who showed up...your dad. The ministry on Burnetts Mound, who was a big part of that...your dad. In Heaven rejoicing and receiving his crown, who is that your dad. He was truly a man of love and good will. He will definitely be missed. You are in our thoughts and prayers. God bless you - Pastor and Mom Berry

We have known Lonnie for many years and enjoyed his zeal as he made us both laugh and sometimes cry. He only looked for one thing.....opportunity. It didn't matter if you were rich or poor, Lonnie always ministered with compassion and abundant love. He will be missed.

Jace, your Dad is a very special man that continues to live in everyone he touched, and that is a lot of people! We had such great and powerful times of ministering to children for so many years. The children's camps we did together were life changing to say the least. Lonnie made many lasting impressions on hundreds and hundreds of people with his special God given ability to minister one on one. The glory of God was easily seen in him. Lonnie loved and he is always loved. "Well done My good and faithful servant, friend, and son: enter into the joy of the Lord."

Family, friends of 'Spyder'. We have all lost a 'giant' of a man. The memories by close friends and family, the moments with the racers. All are cherished moments. The testimonials of many are a tribute to YOU and who you were. You closed you eyes to the darkness of sleep and awoke to the light of the LORD. We smile through tears for the peace you have found.

My deepest sympathy to Lonnie's family. It was very shocking to hear of his recent death. I've known Lonnie for several years, meeting him at a Topeka Evangelistic Outreach several years ago when we brought a team from KC/St Joe and Chillicothe, Mo. We traveled to Mardi Gras together with a mutual vision to reach souls while sharing the love of Jesus. He was definitely ONE OF A KIND with his unique ability to stay joyful and tireless in all circumstances of life. He surely is leading some sort of Jesus pep rally right now on the other side of this life as we know it here. It has been a pleasure and honor to have known him.

I regret that I found out about the memorial service too late to attend.
I'm glad to have been covered by Lonnie's prayers and have enjoyed witnessing him attending to God in worship.
Be comforted in knowing that he is now in the safest place in the whole wide world - the Father's Arms.

To Mrs. Jacob and the entire family of Lonnie, I was stunned to hear of the passing of Lonnie. I have known Lonnie all my life and have always enjoyed his warmth, smile, and his overall zest for life. God called a loyal, faithful warrior off the battlefield and home to glory the other day. Spyder; you were a real gem; a diamond in the rough if you will. Now a jewel in the Crown worn by God. I have known you since the very early 1960's, you were always a nice boy and grew to be an even better man. I remember the Pott County Pork and Bean Band and all the fun we had hanging out at the concerts. We also had fun when we ran into each other at the races in Knoxville and other venues. I was amazed that no matter where you were, there were always people around you.
With all of that said, the most amazing memories come after you became a Man of God...your true calling. I always looked forward to your e-mails and was so proud of your work, especially in the areas where others dare go. You were fully aware of the fact that God went before you; so you forged ahead.
You will be missed by so many of us left behind, but we have the knowledge that you will be waiting at Heaven's Gate to welcome us Home.
It is true that those of us still here will be the sad ones, sharing stories about Spyder and how he impacted our lives one way or another. Lonnie you earned the right to walk next to the Master, converse with the Angels and certainly give Sarah lots of hugs and kisses.
As I shared many times with you,,,I love, admire and respect you!!! I was honored to call you "Friend".
Enjoy the fruits of your labor;
