Dear Lauren and Denise: Craig and I just found out about your heartbreaking loss of Mireya yesterday May 12 at lunch in Tucson with JR and Mark. We dont do Facebook so we didn't know & nobody notified us. We are soooo very very sorry for your loss. She was such a gorgeous gorgeous baby. You are in our thoughts & prayers. I viewed the Youtube videos & all the pics. Very nice. Thank you for putting them up. My God comfort you and keep you. Love, your cuz Anna In AZ

I met Mireya last year for the first time. I'm sad that was the only time. She was a beautiful child who didn't deserve to die. I will miss her beautiful face and personality. God be with you Mireya.

My condolenceses and my deepest sympathy go out to your family-Roger and I are good friends and I could see the sadness in his face as I spoke with him last night. There are no good answers for why things happen the way they do, but we must keep the faith and know that there is a path that must be taken-even if we dont agree with or understand it. Hopefully you can remember the joy she brought you while she was here, and that even in her short time her life had meaning and brought beauty and promise. Maybe that was what she was here to do.

Lauren, cousin. I pray for you and your mom daily since I heard the news. I need to see you lady, I miss you greatly and Mireya even more. You know that she now lies with God and He would not put us through anything that we could not handle. This is a loss that will be hard to handle not only today but for years to come.
