Honoring Nancy's request, cremation is planned. Interment of the cremated remains will be, Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Mount Hope Cemetery, 4700 SW 17th Street, Topeka. Due to Covid-19 circumstances the interment will be private. Dove Cremations and Funerals, Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka is assisting the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society 5720 SW 21st Street, Topeka, KS 66604-3720. My condolences to Nancy's family. She made it easier to come to work. She always had a suggestion for a good book. I will miss all her posts on facebook. I will miss her.

I enjoyed working with Nancy at Randolph. Our classrooms were close to each other and we often were in the hallways at the same times! I really enjoyed visiting with her at our Randolph Retirement lunches each month. She was so positive and upbeat with her cancer and treatment and an inspiration for the rest of us. She will be truly missed.
