Paul C. Morse Jr. Paul C. Morse, Jr. passed away on September 21, 2017 after enduring multiple illnesses for the past three years. Paul was born October 12, 1947, the oldest child of Paul C. Sr., and Bette Talbot Morse. He was a professional interior designer and over a career of nearly fifty years enhanced the homes of many families in Topeka as principal designer at James Summers Interiors, Tindall's Design Center and Gardner Floor Covering, and in Farmington, New Mexico as co-owner of Morse-Fetterolf Interiors. Paul was ordained to the Priesthood of the Anglican Catholic Church on December 14, 1985, and served as the first full-time Rector of St. Jude's parish in Farmington. He retired from the priesthood in 1995. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Timothy, his grandparents, and his mother- and father-in-law, Edward and Lucille Fetterolf. He is survived by his partner and husband of 43 years, Boyd Fetterolf of the home, his sister, Cindy Morse Miller, and his brother Phillip Morse (Miriam Cox), sister- and brother-in-law Rhonda and Fred Lowery, as well as numerous nieces and great nephews and great nieces. Paul will lie in state at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home from 2:00 until 7 p.m. Thursday, September 28, 2017. Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday, September 29, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Entombment at Mount Hope Mausoleum will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Helping Hands Humane Society, The St. Joseph's Restoration Fund, or a charity of the donor's choice.
