Rita, I wish I had been able to contact earlier. A good friend, fellow crew member, and musical jammer.Members of the 55th have put pertinent memories in their e-mails. A man who will be missed.

Rita, my sincere condolences to you and the family. I am the grandson of Bub B. Cain who was a brother to your great grandfather Calvin Cain.

Although we have never met, I have met many of your mother's brothers and sisters at the Cain family reunion we hold each year.

I talked with your mother Martha via telephone occasionally. Your mother informed me of the passing of your husband.

Again, my sincere condolences to you and the family.
