I could write a book about all that Mona and I had done together. We laughed, we cried, leaving great memories. Every time I do something that reminds me of Mona I smile. From white station wagons (when she started to get in the front with a complete stranger) I had to honk at her before she actually climbed in the front seat with him. I was parked right in front of the store she had gone into and the other white station wagon was sitting next to me.Then the time Mona had taken a cold medicine (making her a little looney) and she kept driving around and around the gas tanks. I have no idea how many times she drove around those gas tanks. All she wanted to do was get some gas. I finally looked at her and asked her if she needed me to drive. We just laughed and laughed. One time when I was driving my glasses were dirty. I told Mona I couldn't see, asked if she would clean my glasses for me. She did, but when I put them back on It was like I was looking through frosted glass. I looked over at her and made a WTH statement. We both busted out laughing. She had cleaned my glasses with lotion tissues, leaving a nice complete film over my glasses. And I couldn't see a thing.
Tom, Aaron, Jason my heart felt condolences. Mona was a truly amazing person. She leaves us with wonderful, beautiful memories. Her spirit lives on in everyone she touched.
Love always,
Cherida, Sis, BFF
