Mary Spain Obituary
1926 - 2009
Mary E. Spain, age 83, of Milton, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2009. She was born April 25, 1926 in Eldorado, Illinois to the late James McDaniel and Eula Jane Pittman McDaniel.
Mary moved here with her family in 1977 from Lake Station, Indiana. She was a homemaker and was a Charter Member of Avalon Baptist Church.
Mary is survived by three children, Carl (Dawn) Spain, Brenda (Leo) Anderson and Linda (Ken) Dowell; ten grandchildren, Barry, Carla, Brandi, Tiffany, Brandon, Brittany, Jennifer, Tony, Wendy, and Whitney; two great-grandsons, Timmy & Beckett; one great-granddaughter, Delilah; and a brother, Jim McDaniel.
Funeral services will be Sunday, January 3, 2010 at 3 PM at the Chapel of National Cremation & Burial Society. Interment will follow in Serenity Gardens in Milton with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers, Ken Dowell, Tony Dowell, John Brooks, Jim McDaniel, Bill Dunsford and Gerald Thomas. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Dave Robinson.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, January 3, from 1 PM until the funeral hour.
National Cremation & Burial Society of Milton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
