Sheila Ann Sender

Sheila Ann (Martindale) Sender Mrs. Sheila Ann (Martindale) Sender, born on May 3, 1943 in Chanute, Kansas, to the late Effie Marie Martindale (Hall) and Vernon Martindale, passed away at age 74 on April 23, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas.

She was in the medical profession at Cotton O'Neil as an LPN for many years until retiring in 2008. Sheila was the loving wife of the late Firman L Sender.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Martindale. Sheila is survived by her sons, Anthony Lee Sender and Reuben LBJ Sender; daughter, Gondala Lynn Patton; sister, Carol Donaldson; nephews, Matthew Donaldson and Kenneth Donaldson; niece, Laura Donaldson; grandchildren, Lacy Story, Jacob Sender, Matthew Sender, Drew Williams, Dillon Williams, Natasha Williams, Jakob Morris, Brenden Morris, Gunner Sender and Hunter Sender; and great-grandchildren, Joey Sender, Mason Sender, Jeremiah Sender, Leah Story, Eden Story and Annabelle Morris.

Sheila enjoyed studying archaeology, reading, lunch with her friends, and absolutely loved horses. What made Sheila special is she loved helping others. She was a member of Church of God, a Worldwide Association, Inc.

Additional thanks to all of her friends and her sister for their loving support and letting her know she was loved and never forgotten. She will be greatly missed. There will be no services.
