Donald Land Obituary

Donald Land, 84, of Liberty, died on Sunday, April 18, 2021, at his home.
He was born on Nov. 2, 1936, in Casey County, the oldest son of the late Tommie and Nellie Noel Land.
He was baptized at Gum Lick Christian Church and was a lifelong dairy farmer and carpenter.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Shirley Bell Land; four children: Karen (Arnold) Goode, Kevin (Shari) Land, Karrell (Dennis) Wilkerson and Kaye (Dale) Sellers; grandchildren: Amanda (Herb Todd) Spinks, Annette (Kevin) Nesbitt, Adam (Ashley) Dean, Alex (Logan) Goggin, Karey Sellers, Jonathan (Kristy) Wilkerson and Jamie (Kara) Wilkerson; great-grandchildren: Kara (Brady) Cowan, Kate Spinks, Landon Nesbitt, Logan Nesbitt, Kash Dean, Carson, Hudson and Grayson Wilkerson, Landon, Lukas and Kailey Wilkerson; a great-great-grandchild, Baylee Cowan; sisters: Josephine (Richard) Colvin, Sharon Harne and Sandy (Garry) Oney; a sister-in-law, Anita Land and many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy Brown Land; a brother, Roger Land and a grandson, Andrew Dean.
Funeral services were held on April 21 in the chapel of McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bros. Paul Patton and Darrell Treece officiating.
Burial followed in Noel's Chapel Cemetery.
Donations in his memory may be made to The Gideons International or the Noel's Chapel Cemetery fund.
