Joseph Hardin Obituary

Joseph Michael Hardin, 63, of Louisville, Ky., formerly of Campbellsville, died at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, in Louisville.
Son of the late Joe Henry Hardin and Villa Malone Hardin, he was born May 16, 1950, in Jefferson County, Ky.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served his country honorably in the United States Army.
He was a retired employee at General Electric, having worked some 38 years.
Survivors include two sons, Wayne Hardin of Campbellsville and Brandon Hardin and his wife, Beverly, of Bardstown, Ky.; six grandchildren, Christin Hardin, Patrick Hardin and his wife, Mary; Wesley Hardin, Tyler Hardin, Elizabeth Marie Hardin, and James Matthias Hardin; two great-grandchildren, Elijah Hardin and Madelyn Hardin; two sisters, Shirley Cheatham and husband, Frank, of Campbellsville, and Carole Cheatham and her husband, Tom, of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; a brother, J.W. Hardin of Elk Horn; a sister-in-law, Kathy Hardin of Greenwood, Ind.; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Michael Todd Hardin; two brothers, Charles Hardin and Harold Morris Hardin; and a sister-in-law, Linda Hardin.
Funeral was Monday, Oct. 21, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. Dr. Brian Rafferty officiated.
Burial was in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens with full military honors by Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
