OSSIAN, Indiana — Amanda Tilda Maiden, 85, of Ossian, IN, passed away May 2, 2017 at Ossian Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born May 16, 1931 in Linda, Kentucky to the late Jacen Partin and Sarah Myrtle (Maiden) Moody. She worked as a farmer's wife for many years of her life, along with being a caretaker for many. She also worked as a cook and housekeeper for a number of businesses throughout her later years.
She is survived by her son, John (Kathy) Poore of Bluffton, IN; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; twenty six step-grandchildren, fifty-two step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Patten Poore; second husband, Albert L. Teegarden; third husband, Wesley D. Maiden; son, Jason Partin and six brothers and sisters.
A graveside service was held in Tazewell, TN.
