Jacob Michael Marriott, 26, of Maryville, MO, and formerly of Southwest Iowa, passed away Thursday, Jan. 17, at the St. Francis Hospital in Maryville.
Jacob was born in Clarinda, on February 1, 1986. He was a 2004 graduate of the South Page High School, class of 2004.
Jacob worked as a Sales Representative for Overland Sales, and also worked the past 8 years at United Producers Livestock, both of Maryville. He enjoyed roping and wrangling and had competed for many years on Ranch Rodeo Teams. He was a former 4-H member, FFA member, and the Two County Duster Team. He was of the Lutheran Faith.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Marvin Lee Dunn and Sara Ann Carmichael; and his maternal uncle, Chuck Dunn.
Jacob is survived by his parents, father, Michael D. (Mike) Marriott, Braddyville, and his mother, Dee Marriott, Maryville, MO. He is also survived by his sister, Samantha J. Marriott, Maryville, MO, his niece, Emma Vicker, Maryville, MO; his paternal grandparents, Gary and Connie Marriott, Clarinda; numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 21, at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO. The burial was in the Shearer Cemetery, Braddyville with Chaplain Josh Allee the minister for the service.
The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO.
