Rev. McQuirter was such an inspiration to me and a true man of God. He always had a positive word to say and he knew how to spread the love of God. I thank God for him. My deepest sympathy but always remember he is in a better place now. Praise God!

My deepest condolences to the McQuirter family. I have known Pastor McQuirter since I was a very young girl. My family, the Roach and Silas families are long time members of St. Matthew, and I would often visit St. Matthew when I was in town and they would make sure I spoke to Pastor McQuirter during my visit and I will always remember his smile. My family considered him family and so did I. I pray for your family continued strength in the Lord.

This community has lost a great Icon. He has made a great impact on all of us especially his sense of humor! He gave so many examples on how to be respectful human beings. He loved Jesus Christ and desired others to love him as well. We all know that he is well rested now. My thoughts and prayers are with you. God has truly blessed you with a great father.

May God truly blessed you all. My fondest memories of Rev. McQuirter are when he sang and directed the Christian Institute choir with the late Ms. Joanna Marshall at the piano. I will forever remember him; he definitely was an influence in my life early on...
