Alice Blaylock Obituary

Alice Faye Hirschfield Blaylock, 57, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2009, at her home on the Reservoir after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her husband and children.
A funeral service celebrating her life was held at Lake Harbour Church of Christ in Ridgeland on Monday, May 11, 2009. Internment was in Jessamine Cemetery in Ridgeland.
Mrs. Blaylock was a native of Jackson. She loved working in her flower garden and was a member of Lake Harbour Church of Christ in Ridgeland. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Blair E. Batson Children's Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Phillip Blaylock of 28 years; mother, Joyce Tatum; daughters, Amy Davis and husband, Eddie of Zachary, LA and Suzanne Blaylock of Baton Rouge; son, Aaron Richard Hirschfield and wife, Jeni of Florence; grandchildren, Alexa Hirschfield, Audrey Grace Hirschfield, Lydia Paxton, Robert Paxton, Ethan Paxton, Alex Davis, Matthew Davis, and Olivia Davis; and a brother, Keith Tatum of Jackson.

Jerry ...I was so sad to hear about Faye.
I didn't know she was so sick until Stephanie informed me and seeing her at the Dr's office. I always admired her abilities. Will always remember her.
