Alicia was a gift to all who knew her. She and George brought light in every time they entered. We knew the source of their light was Christ. So grateful she spent time with our daughter. They had a special bond on their travels to London. See you again before too many years. Love to your family for I know how they will miss you!

I met George and Alicia Pittman in January 2006 in the weekly Tuesday Morning Bible Study at Broadway Baptist Church and enjoyed participating in that class with them for 7 years. I loved hearing their soft Southern drawls and listening to their travel tales. George always had an interesting book review to share as he was an avid reader. They both expressed their sincere faith, both in words and in deeds with all the volunteer/ mission work they did. Alicia was a beautiful woman, physically and spiritually. May her soul find rest with the God she faithfully served for so many years.

Condolences to the family,
Janette Chambers

My heart is deeply saddened by this news. Alicia and I had a great time being alto singers in the choir at First Baptist Clinton. Every Wednesday night, she and I would catch up with each other to the frustration of Bill Bacon. I would call her, adoringly, Alicia Fern. My moms name is Fern. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. I love her. Lida Stark

Angie and I have wonderful memories of George & Alicia since our time together in Brownwood. They were the epitome of Southern grace, charm and contagious joy. Having them in our pool of friends has always been enriching to us.
Everywhere they went was made better because they were there. This couple has left a big hole that perhaps will never be filled.
We find comfort from the Lord they served so faithfully.

A beautiful, special and gracious southern belle of a lady will be missed by so many. While I will miss seeing her around the neighborhood, I am glad her time of suffering is over. I met Alicia when I was relatively new in my relationship with Jesus. What a gift she was to me. She showed me how a Christian woman should live. I know heaven just got a little sweeter. I am so blessed and thankful to have known her.
