B. McDonald Obituary

B. Jean Gallagher McDonald died peacefully Saturday, October 18, 2008, at Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital in Hazlehurst.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 21, 2008, from 9 a.m.-10 a.m. at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst. The funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Stringer Family Chapel with burial in Midway Cemetery in Meadville, MS.
Mrs. McDonald was born August 2, 1925 in Brighton, Michigan to parents Charles Edward Gallagher and Winifred Bell Donaldson Gallagher. She lived there until moving to Bude, MS in 1949. She was a faithful member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Meadville. During her lifetime she enjoyed visiting with her many friends, playing bridge, feeding her birds and deer, and making her lovely Christmas ornaments.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Charles Richard McDonald.
Survivors include: daughters, Kathleen McDonald Rose of Hazlehurst; son, Charles Edward McDonald of Dallas, TX; and grandchildren, Natalie Jean Rose of Lafayette, LA, Tyler Charles McDonald and Morgan Kathryn McDonald, both of Dallas, TX.
