Cecil Joe "JoJo" Patten

Richland

Cecil Joe "JoJo" Patten, 78, a resident of Richland died Saturday, February 7, 2015 at his home. There will be a memorial service at a later date to be announced by his family. Mr. Patten was a native of Wisner, LA and was the son of Homer and Belle Reed Patten. He was faithfully in love with his companion of 36 years Susan Magee. Mr. Patten worked 18 years for Howard Wilson Chrysler Plymouth as a mechanic. He was Baptist by faith. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed being a part of the Rebel Bass Club. He loved NASCAR, playing dominoes with his friends and being a part of the Red Stick Rambler Camping Club. Mr. Patten loved his family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to his life. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Mr. Patten was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Belle Reed Patten and his sister, Mildred McLain.

Mr. Patten is survived by his Loving Companion, Susan Magee; children, Dianne (Chris) Beyl, Michael J. Patten and Stacy (Mike) Shipp; sister and brother in law, Faye and Ernest Swillie; 4 grandchildren, Desiree Douglas, Derek Douglas, Michael Patten and Cody Shipp.
