In Loving Memory of Mr. Clay Norris Brown:
From the moment I met Clay in Guam, where he served as my LCPO, a special friendship began-one that extended far beyond our military responsibilities. Clay was a stickler for detail, a trait that earned him deep respect from everyone who worked alongside him. His infectious laugh and unwavering willingness to help others made him a beloved figure both professionally and personally.
During Super Typhoon PAKA, Clay stood by my family and me with strength and compassion. He found joy in cooking with my wife and spending time with our two children, forming bonds that left a lasting impression. I still have the two sets of golf clubs Clay gifted me-though I never quite caught the golf bug, as he liked to remind me with a grin.
After our time in Guam, we reunited for his final tour at Fort Meade, where our friendship continued to grow. To this day, my family often reflects on the memories we shared with Clay, and we still struggle to believe he is no longer with us.
We send his family our deepest condolences, along with strength, peace, and love. Clay´s legacy lives on in the lives he touched, and he is sorely missed.

I met Clay while stationed at Fort Meade, Maryland. Clay was a very dedicated professional and a expert CTA. If I had any questions on any administrative matters, I knew I could always go to Clay for the answers. But what I will always remember, cherish, and miss the most about Clay, was his bubbly, and always cheerful demeanor. No matter where or when, you ran into Clay, he always had a smile on his face, and would always make you laugh. We bowled together, and Clay always helped make if a fun time, every week with his infectious smile, hearty laugh, and humorous stories. You couldn't help but to have to great time with Clay, no matter the setting. Rest In Peace, Shipmate, I will always remember you, and you will not be forgotten. My deepest condolences, prayers and sympathies, to his Family, may you be able to always reflect on the great times, and memories you shared.

I met Clay at Ft. Meade. I was the Dep LCPO and Clay the Admin Chief. I recall spending many a night working evals/fitreps with Clay. Always a smile on his face. We bowled on the intramural base team together and anyone who played golf with Clay would remark about his cross-handed grip. RIP Shipmate!!! You will be missed

Clay Norris Brown was a unique individual. I worked with Clay at DISA and he was a character. Everyone knew when they had met Clay Brown, from his fussing and the excellent customer service he provided lol! Clay had a big heart he mentored a lot of the security officers with his time, knowledge and experience he had. He would sit on post telling stories with the officers and he would care about their welfare. Clay loved his golf and bowling and not to mention his food! I know that he will have found the best golf course by now and he is finally resting in peace. Clay was taken too soon from us, but i will cherish the time i had working with him. In closing my condolences go out to all the people who knew Clay his family and his friends, he is so missed and cherished by the memories he has left behind. Rest in Peace Mr. Brown.

I met Clay at DISA and he was a tough task master but a friendly and great guy! If you needed something he was there to help. He would fuss you out first and then give you that warm smile and say ok what you need. If Clay asked what you needed and he could deliver it or tell you where to go to get it he did. Clay was well known and liked by many. He was normally the first thing you would see in the mornings at DISA and the last thing you would see at night before leaving DISA. Clay was a hard worker and he could be counted on to get the job done. I will truly miss Clay and our jokes about the military and golf. I pray his family will find peace and comfort in knowing Clay lived a great life, was loved by many and served his country well. Blessings

Trying to find the words to express my condolences. Words seem inadequate to express the sadness that I feel. Mr. Brown was such a kind and humble guy. His disposition to me was always so pleasant and warm. I will miss our talks at DISA about golfing and his bowling. Such a kind and gentle guy that was admired so much by so many. Gone way too soon. Rest in Peace Sir. See you at the Pearly Gates one day.
Praying the family will find comfort in your memories.
Grace and Peace to the family,
Paula Henry

I'm still having a hard time processing this passing of a hard working man. I'm still in shock, he was a great mentor, he was a friend, and he was like family to me. When I saw him last I said to him Sir! make it home safe. Now he is home with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I will miss you my dear mentor. Rest in peace. To the family your loved one knew a lot of people. He has been on many of mission, in the military, as a civilian, and now he is on a spiritual mission for the Lord.

I met Clay in Guam and we became fast friends. He not only was my friend he was my brother. A kind heart and a kind spirit. My life will not be the same without Clay in it. Over 23 years, we didn't talk every day but we talked often just to check in with each other. Clay will forever be in my heart.
