Clifford Williamson Obituary
Jackson
Clifford D. Williamson, 66 years old, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS.
A service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Trace Ridge Baptist Church with visitation beginning at 12 noon at the church.
Mr. Williamson was a native of Georgetown, SC and eventually moved to Pine Bluff, AR where he met his wife of 43 years.
He pursued a degree in music at the University of AR. His passion was the piano and organ. At the time of his death, Mr. Williamson served as the organist at Trace Ridge Baptist Church in Ridgeland, MS. He was retired from Entergy and was currently employed by EEPS as a contractor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James H. Williamson and Ina Avant Williamson.
He is survived by his wife, Linda of Jackson; son, Phillip Bryan Williamson of Central, LA; daughter, Sarah Williamson-Tompkins of Denham Springs, LA; grandchildren, Gavin Baker, Landon Williamson, Sammy Williamson, Logan, Kaitlyn and Nathan Collins. He is also survived by sister, Cynthia Williamson Kelly (A.J.) of Little Rock, AR; brothers, James H. Williamson, Jr. (Daria) of Malvern, AR; Charles Stephen Williamson (Jackie) of Griffin, GA; Thomas Gerald Williamson (Nancy) at Atlanta, TX; George David Williamson of Winston Salem, NC; Robert Edward Williamson of Dublin, GA.
Memorials may be made to Trace Ridge Baptist Church Music Ministry, 238 Lake Harbour Drive, Ridgeland, MS 39157.
