Cornelia Hood Obituary
Utica
Cornelia ("Nene") Russell Hood went to be with the Lord on July 19, 2016. Services will be held at Utica Baptist Church Thursday, July 21st at 11:00, preceded by visitation at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Pine Bluff Cemetery.
A long-time member of the Utica Baptist Church, she loved to sing and was active in the choir. She and her late husband, Arnold Robin Hood, Sr., founded and owned Robin Hood Supplies.
Cornelia was a loving mother and grandmother and cherished spending time with her family. Her sharp wit and kind heart will be deeply missed. She enjoyed working in her flower beds, gardening, and traveling. Nene's recent years were spent at The Orchard in Ridgeland where she made treasured friendships.
Her family is very appreciative to the staff for the care and love she received.
She is survived by her sister, Merle Carriero; four sons, Robin, Jr., Ronnie, David, and Tony, their wives and children.
