Dana was vibrant and funny and kind. Her sermons touched many; her spirit and humor touched all. The memorial service today was a fitting, warm tribute to her and the high esteem in which she was held. It was also "Dana" in so many aspects. We will all miss her greatly.

Dear Fourth Church community,

In my short time at Fourth I too was touched by Dana's electrifying presence, her warmth and her faith.

She was priceless and yes more than a conqueror through Christ.

We will miss her.

I listen to recordings of Dana's sermons all the time. My favorite is Answering The Why. She was always so kind to my family, and she was a great preacher.

To Dana's Entire Family,
My deepest sympathy to all of you regarding Dana's passing. I am a member of Fourth Church and can't tell you how much I loved Dana! She was one of the most caring, passionate, and insightful people I have ever known. After hearing so many of her sermons, I will never forget her sermon from April 20th, 2008. She talked about faith for the future and how life is a gift. When our lives are over on this earth-all doesn't just end for us. For at that time- all of us will become complete with Christ. In reflecting on her words- may all of you find comfort in knowing that her physical suffering is over and that she is now complete with Christ.

Sincerely,

Gayle Stevens
