we were so sorry to hear about darrell's death. we had the pleasure of being with him 2 years ago when mary dickens beard's daughter, emily delle munn, and granddaughter, susan alexander, from san angelo, texas were here on a family tree "quest." they had spent two nights with us in hattiesburg before venturing on to jackson where they visited with mary frances and aunt frances. mary frances then brought them to carthage. we went and visited with ide later that day. darrell was such a character in the true dickens spirit. we will always cherish that visit. sincerely, judy simmons and syble dickens simmons (syble is the granddaughter of louie who was ide, sr's. brother.)
