Eva Dansby Taylor

Eva Lee Dansby Taylor passed away at home following a lengthy illness. Born July 3, 1919, Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her parents, Lyd and Lena Dansby; husband George N. Taylor, son Kevin Taylor, and brother and sister-in-law, Adrien and Connie Dansby. She is survived by daughters Donna (C.L.) Pigg, Debra (Ken) Stumpf and Karen (Bill) Boatner; 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

After the birth of Donna and Kevin, the family moved to Mississippi. She worked as an executive assistant for over 30 years. Mrs. Taylor was a true Christian who taught Sunday School for a number of years and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

The funeral service will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2012 in the chapel of Lakewood Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Following the service, interment will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Benevolence Fund at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 5950 Terry Road, Byram, MS 39272.
