Frank Workman, 86, died Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at home. A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 31, 2013 at St. Columb's Episcopal Church. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Friday at the church. Mr. Workman was born on October 20, 1927, in Catlettsburg, KY, to the late Mr. & Mrs. W.E. Workman. A veteran, he served his country in both the US Army and the US Navy. Mr. Workman attended the University of Houston. Mr. Workman worked for Gulf Oil, serving as a lubrication engineer for 32 years. After retirement, he started his own business, Lubrication Consulting Service. Mr. Workman enjoyed working on projects and gardening. He was a communicant of St. Columb's Episcopal Church. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Workman and sister, Willena Taylor. Survivors include: his wife, Mary Ann Workman of Madison; sons, Michael Workman (Isabelle) of Charlotte, NC; Andrew Workman (Mary Beth) of Bristol, RI; grandchildren, Alex Workman and Elizabeth Workman; brother, Charles Workman of Lexington, KY and sister, Patty Minns (Ed) of Ashland, KY. Memorials may be made to the Stained Glass Fund, St. Columb's Episcopal Church, 550 Sunnybrook Rd, Ridgeland 39157.

Sorry but I just could not make to Madison just too ole. I am lookin forward to your visit to Ocean Springs. I recall that Frank was able to make it to Judy's home in OS during his last visit. It's difficult to grieve, I know how you are feeling. your loving brother Bob

It can be so hard to face the new year without your loved one, but the love of family and friends can carry you through. Mary Ann, Frank was as I said my favorite uncle. I am sorry I didn't get to see him more in the past years but I certainly have good memories and I know you will cherish your memories for the years to come. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
