Gary W. Woodrow, 62, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 19, 2016, at his home. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held Saturday, June 4, at Grace Chapel Presbyterian Church in Madison, MS, at two o'clock with a visitation being held one hour prior to service.

Mr. Woodrow was born August 3, 1953, to Mary Joe and Tom H. Woodrow. He was raised in Jackson, MS, and was a lifelong member of Central Presbyterian Church until its closure.

He graduated from Council McCluer in 1970 and then attended the University of Mississippi and will always be known as an avid Rebel fan.

Gary returned to Jackson and worked at the family business as assistant manager of Joe Williams Electric Supply Company for many years.

He later married Mitzi Clouse in 1993 and after retiring moved to Mantachie, MS, to be near her family.

Gary was preceded in death by his wife, Mitzi Woodrow; parents, Hon. Tom H. and Mary Joe Woodrow; and a brother, John Thomas (Tommy) Woodrow.

Survivors include his son, Joseph H. (Joey) Woodrow and his wife, Lindsay of Crystal Springs; his sister, Jo Carol Parker and her husband, Doug of Gulfport, MS; and two precious grandchildren, Kayla and Peyton Woodrow of Crystal Springs, MS.

Special thanks to Gary's stepdaughter, Dorothy Hickman and extended family in Mantachie, MS, that gave him compassionate and loving care over the last few years.
