Grayson Butler Obituary

With broken hearts yet in the grip of a loving Savior, Joey and Gretchen Butler announce the birth and death of their daughter Grayson Strong Butler on Tuesday, July 8, 2008. Though never taking an earthly breath, Grayson lives eternally as a reminder of a God who gives life both on this earth and eternally. The family's great desire was to wrap Grayson's living body in earthly arms, yet indescribable comfort is found in our absolute faith in Jesus wrapping her eternal body in His saving arms.
Grayson is survived by her parents, Joey and Gretchen Butler of Madison; sister, Isabel Butler; and adoring grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends and family.
A celebration of Grayson's eternal life will be held at the future home of Lifebridge Community Church (west of I-55 on Gluckstadt Road adjacent to Reunion Equestrian Center) on Saturday at 6:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be made to Lifebridge Community Church.

Dear Joey and Gretchen,
We attended your daughter's service this evening. The service was beautiful and the photograph of your precious baby Grayson was even more beautiful. We didn't find out about Grayson until Friday afternoon while we were out of town visiting family. Our hearts are broken over the loss of your sweet baby girl. There is no greater bond on earth than the bond between a parent and child. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. May God bless you and your family with the peace that only He can provide.
