Howard Webb Obituary

Howard E. (Pop) Webb, Jr., 79, died Thursday, April 29, 2010, at his home in Bogota, Colombia, South America. Funeral services were held Saturday, May 1, 2010, at United Church of Bogota in Bogota, Colombia, South America.
He was born September 9, 1930, and graduated from high school in Louisville, MS. Mr. Webb retired from the Oil industry in South America where he worked for many years and made his home.
Survivors include: wife, Lucia Valencia Webb; daughter and son-in-law, Denise Webb Posada and Juan Emilio Posada; twin granddaughters, Emilia and Maria Antonio Posada, all of Bogota, Colombia, SA; and his sister, Sylvia Webb Power (Mrs. Charles D. Power) of Hattiesburg, MS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard E. Webb, Sr. and Inez Price Webb of Louisville, MS.

Sincerest condolences to the Webb family. Howard Webb was one of the most honorable, generous and kindest men I have ever known. There were many who admired and loved him.

Lucy and Denise, I was so sorry to hear about Pop and send my love and condolences to you both. I will always remember his laughter and smile- it was so contaigous and how dear you were to our family. I will keep you in my heart.
