The funeral for Hudson "Smitty" Lowe, Clinton, Mississippi, is 1:00 pm, Wednesday, September 28, 2016, Westhaven Memorial Chapel, 3580 Robinson Road, Jackson, Mississippi. Hudson was baptized at St. Marks Baptist Church, Richland, Georgia. He graduated from Stewart County High, Lumpkin, Georgia, 1974; Mary Holmes College, 1976; and JSU, 1978. He worked for Mondelez (Nabisco) 27 years. Cherishing Hudson's memory are his wife, Kathy O'Neal Lowe; children, Nathan Lowe and Natalie Maya-Olvera; brothers, Thomas, Clarence, and Melvin Lowe; sisters, Mary Ihsaan, Mary "Dottie" Lowe, and Aleen Culpepper; grandchildren, Isabel and Alex Maya-Olvera, Gabriel Lowe, Matthew and Lauren Griffin; relatives and friends.

Hudson was a good, hard working man. I am sad that he is gone so soon. He will be missed by all who knew him. Condolences to Cathy and his family.

I just let my husband know I've never felt the sadness associated with not being able to tell someone goodbye (forever)! However, at this moment I overwhelmingly understand! My heart goes out to all the family and friends of such a wonderful person! Looking forward to seeing you in heaven! Until we meet again my friend.......
