Hugh Hutton Obituary

Hugh H. Hutton, 79, died Thursday, January 28, 2010, at home. Visitation will be 12 noon today at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home on High Street in Jackson.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Briar Hill Cemetery, in Florence, MS.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Judy Boteler Hutton; sons, Doug Hutton of Brandon, Jeff Hutton (Tracey) of Franklin, TN, and Mike Hutton of Las Vegas, NV; sisters, Roma Martin (Hulon) of Bolton, Sarah Speights (Jack) of Sulpher, LA and Augusta Fulton (Robert) of Murietta, CA; brothers, Freddie Hutton (Martha) of Clem, and Doug Hutton (Mary Sue) of Clinton; and his main hunting and fishing buddies Ken Williams, Johnny Martin and Dave Speyerer; and his constant companion, his yellow Lab, Maggie.
Hugh was an avid hunter and fisherman and a die hard MS State Fan. He pitched fast pitch softball for several teams in MS and beat the King and His Court twice.
Hugh was a kind and gentle man who loved helping other people. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church, Bldg. Fund, 3121 Didlake Rd., Crystal Springs, MS 39059 or CARA, 960 N. Flag Chapel Rd., Jackson, MS 39209.

Sorry that I could not attend. Had a funeral in Gulfport. I really enjoyed getting to know Mr. Hugh these last few years,he kept me laughing and I loved his old sports stories,when I could get him to talk about them. So sorry for ya'lls loss.
