Jaime Mills Obituary
Clinton
A devoted family member and loving friend, Jaime Wynn Mills, 37, went to be with The Lord after a courageous life on Monday, February 24, 2014 in Clinton, Mississippi. Visitation is Thursday, February 27, 2014 from 4pm-7pm at First Baptist Church Clinton. Funeral services are at 10:30am Friday, February 28, 2014 at First Baptist Church Clinton with visitation at 9am. Following the service, interment will be in Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville at 4pm. Jaime was born in Jackson, MS on April 2, 1976. She was a 1995 graduate of Clinton High School, and earned an associates degree in child development from Hinds Community College, and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She leaves behind her loving family, her parents Johnny and Connie (Reeves) Mills of Clinton, her sister Leslie (Mills) and Ryan Nichols of Denver, CO; and their children Peter and Megan Clara, her sister Amanda Mills of Jackson and fiancé Dustin Jones, grandfather Paul Mills Sr. of Courtland, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Jaime is preceded in death by grandmother Clara Cosby Mills, and grandparents Billy and Mary Jack Reeves. In lieu of flowers please send memorials to Children's Cancer Fund, c/o Gina Beasley, Children's Cancer Clinic at Batson, 2500 N State St, Jackson, MS 39216.

I have profound memories of Jaime. She always had a smile on her face and reached out to others, even the older folks like me. Those memories make me want to reach out to others who like Jamie face challenges with courage and faith. God bless all of you as you honor her today.

Our family is so sadden to hear news of your loss. What a sweet smiling person Jamie was to all that met her. I know how she loved to be at the football games watching her Daddy coach. We love our Coach Mills too. Please know we will be lifting your family up in our prayers.

I had the opportunity to meet Jaime and she is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She made my daughter Naomi a Christmas ornament for our tree and it has been up every year since. I know Jaime touched so many people and I pray for the Mills Family during this difficult time. May you be at peace in heaven now Jaime.
