Dear Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I will continue to pray for you all. Jason was a wonderful classmate for all the class of 1996 and especially me. I can still remember everytime I saw him he was smiling. I have very good memories from school and our show choir performances that I will always cherish. I know he is at peace no with the Lord.

Dear McRae Family and Lacey -
My prayers have been with you since Jason went into the hospital. I attended church with Jason and Lacey; and Jason and I sang in choir together. He always had a smile on his face and was so sweet. Attending his funeral was mixed with grief and peace. The glory of God shined brightly through Jason's life.....he was a testimony of always having faith in God, no matter the situation. But, God gives peace even when it is mixed with human grief. He promises that He is soverign over all and we need to hold on to that. Meeting all of you was a further testimony of God's grace and glory. Your family displayed what can only come from our Saviour --- a peace knowing that Jason is in a better place and glorified in God. At Riveroaks, the choir sang parts of the Hallelujah chorus from the Messiah. While we sang this, my thoughts went to Jason singing this in heaven....he has been taken home to our God.

Uncle Philip, Aunt Carolyn, my boy cousins, their spouses, children, and Lacey and family;
I am so sorry about Jason. I know that as a mom, wife, and sister, it must be extraordinarily difficult to watch your child/husband/brother suffering. I have been amazed, touched, and strengthened by your family's unwavering faith in our Heavenly Father and His plan for Jason. We know where Jason is and we rejoice with you in his Homegoing, but are saddened by his absence here on Earth. Remember your Virginia cousins love you, McRae boys! Lacey, although I have not met you, I know you must be a very special person. Much love and prayers for you and your family as well. Much love to all.

Dear McRae Family,
I am very sorry to hear of your loss. Most of my best memories as a child come from spending time with your family and Jason. I am sorry but I didn't learned of his passing until last night. My family and I will be praying for your family while you go thru this hard time. I wish you the best in the up coming days and weeks. May God Bless You All.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Lacy and family,
I didn't know Jason as well as others did. I mostly remembered him from eating lunch with him and just seeing him around the office. But, he was always an inspiration to me and he always had a smile on his face and seemed to laugh, even when I knew he didn't feel that good.
The memories we share on this earth
help to ease our grief. Jason will always be in our hearts and will be missed. Please read Rev.21:1-6.
I am in Texas and will be unable to attend the arrangements, but all of you will be in my prayers.

Dear McRae family,
Please accept our deepest sympathy in your loss. We had the honor of watching Jason grow from a little boy into a wonderful man during your years in Bay Springs. He was a wonderful christian and let his light shine brightly for Jesus. We will always consider all of you as part of our church family. Please take comfort in knowing without a doubt he is with his heavenly father. We will keep all of you in our prayers as we know how great this loss is to your family. May God help carry you through the days and weeks ahead. I know when our time on Earth is over Jason will be there at heavens gates to welcome us home. Please find comfort in knowing this separation is only temporary and you will all be together in Heaven. I wish our family could be there today to show you our love and support as you have done so many times before for our family but please know that our hearts and our prayers are with you. May God give you strength to carry on.

Lacey and family members:In my observation of family interactions, I have never been more impressed by a family that appears to be in such harmony and love for each other. I am so sorry for your loss. Celebrate and rejoice that Jason knew not only the love of a wife, brothers, parents, and all who worked with him, but he also lived with Christian values and love. Your loss is great and painful now, but only temporary in the Christian faith. Rejoice in your memories and take comfort in your loved ones. Although your time together was too brief, the enrichment from those days will be everlasting.

I am saddened to know that Jason passed away but I am glad to know that he will be in heaven. I feel honored to know Jason even just for a short period of time. I hope that everyone will realize that life is short and we will all someday face the reality as to whether we have lived our life to also go the same place where Jason is going. Now is the time to choose our place of eternal destination. To the family of Jason, I extend condolence.
God Bless

And for a brief moment its glory

But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.
