John was a great boss and friend. He was a classy guy and a perfect gentleman. When in a group there was no doubt who was the leader. John made sure that all our company meetings had first class accommodations. He always mixed boring meetings with plenty of fun times. He was a very good manager and a great asset to International Paper. John will certainly be missed by all of us that had the pleasure of knowing him. A toast of Dewars Scotch to you my old friend. Our thoughts are with Sue and the family. God bless.

As brothers in KA and M-7 John will always be a joyous memory. We thank God for His mercy and His grace in bringing our brother home. And we thank you Lord so much for Sue and the family and the many that have and now support them in the love Christ, and may your peace and strength fill them during this time.

John was always a true gentlemen and a great person to work with over many years. He was always the same "Squires" whether he was trout fishing with customers in Colorado, making presentations to IP's Board of Directors, or visiting with his employees at a fish fry on the river bank. His leadership was not only recognized throughout IP but throughout the entire forest industry. We are all blessed by knowing "Squires". He will be greatly missed. Cathy and my hearts and sympathy go out to Sue and John's family.

John was always a super guy to work with at International Paper--always the life of the party! He was a dedicated and hard worker, who produced much at IP. May God's Peace be with Sue and his entire family.
