Joseph Kirton Obituary
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2009, at Trinity Wesleyan Church, 6950 Siwell Road, Byram, MS from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. with a memorial service following at 11:00 a.m.
He was survived by his wife of 44 years, Angela; two children, Kurt and Melanie; his siblings, Larry Kirton and Kay Whitehead; niece, Dena Lunski; nephews, Larry Kirton, Jr. and Austin Whitehead; sisters-in- law, Barbara Kirton, Annette Mann; and mother-in-law, Mavis Bowman.
In lieu of sending flowers, the family requests that contributions be made, in his memory, to the Gideon's International, Jackson-Madison Camp, P.O. Box 1918, Ridgeland, MS 39158.

I have many good memories of Major from Terry High School. Gideon Bibles are such a wonderful tribute to Major. One placed hotel or motel Bible has the potential to affect the lives of 6000 to 7000 people. May God comfort you and give you peace as you grieve.
