Mack Boyte Obituary
Florence
Mack Julius Boyte, 85, died Thursday, December 29, 2011 at the VA Medical Center in Jackson, MS.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 1, 2012 from 2 - 6 pm and Monday, January 2, 2012 from 12 Noon - 2 pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Richland, MS. Funeral Services are 2 pm Monday, January 2, 2012 from the Chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow in the New Covenant Church Cemetery in Harrisville, MS.
Mr. Boyte was a native of Brookhaven, MS and had been a longtime resident of Florence, MS. He was a World War II Veteran having served in the U.S. Army. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather.He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons; a sister; and three brothers.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Shirley Johnson Boyte of Florence, MS; seven children; 32 grandchildren; 57 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; and one brother.

I am praying for you all peace and comfort in knowing he's in a better place where no sickness or pain will ever touch him again.. and you know you were all loved and will always b loved. I also thank him for giving me a great brother-in-law in Bobby.. and being a wonderful father-in-law to my sister Connie.. and blessing my nieces and nephews with a wonderful papa.
