Canton
Mark Allen Sappington, 58, of Canton, passed away on November 15, 2016. He was born in Jackson, MS to Monte and Barbara Sappington. He is survived by his children, Shawn, Tucker and Hali; his sister, Lyn Allen; and brother, David Sappington; grandchildren and loving family.
Mark was a loving man who cared for many people and surrounded himself with friends from all walks of life. He had a passion for sports, cars and of course music. He will be greatly missed by his family and everyone who loved him.
Visitation will be held at 12:00pm at Breeland Funeral Home on November 19, 2016 with the memorial service to follow at 3:00pm at First Baptist Church of Canton, MS.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Barbara Sappington Memorial Scholarship Fund. Please contact BankPlus in Canton, MS or a member of the family for details.

Mark and his family grew up next door to me. We enjoyed being neighbors, as well as going to high school together. He was always a great friend, no matter the years that separated us after high school. What a great guy. You will be dearly missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Mark's passing. Even though I didn't see him much after high school, I will remember his contributions to daily school life. My prayers are with all of the family.
