Mary Louise Pepin Atkinson

Mary Louise Pepin Atkinson, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2016, at the age of 96, after a short illness. Born and raised in Havre, Montana, she lived in Jackson, Mississippi since 1964 and the last ten years at St. Catherine's Village in Madison. She was a member of St. Richard Catholic Church and St. Catherine's Circle. She was the secretary at St. Peter's Cathedral for a number of years. She was a long time volunteer at St. Dominic Hospital. Mary Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Harry James Atkinson. She is survived by her five sons, James (Roberta), Hoover, AL; Richard (Jean), Madison, MS; Robert (Rebecca), Abita Springs, LA; Thomas (Barbara), Birmingham, AL; and William (Sheryl), Diamondhead, MS; thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 12 noon at Parkway Memorial Cemetery, with Rev. Alfred Camp officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St.Catherine's Village or your favorite charity.
