Dearest Mildred,
You and your lovely bunch of southern ladies taught me, as a young teenage girl, how important it is to live life to its fullest, re-invent yourself, challenge oneself and believe in family and community. I hope you are with those ladies now, enjoying lunch and laughing with that lovely smile of yours.
My deepest condolences to your family, Mildred. I know you will be missed.

Father of all, we pray to you for our sister, Mildred, and for all those whom we love but see no longer. Grant to her eternal rest, and let light perpetual shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Give rest to her, O Christ, where sorrow and pain are no more, and comfort those who grieve.

Ms. Mildred was a wonderful lady, loved and admired by so many. She will be sorely missed, but her memory will live on.

God bless her family, and may your treasured memories give you comfort and peace.
