Clinton
Nicholas (Nic) Henry McHann, 25, passed away Thursday October 31, 2013. Visitation will be 4-6pm Sunday November 3, 2013 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday November 4, 2013 at Edwards Baptist Church in Edwards, MS, preceded by visitation at 10:00am. Burial will follow in Edwards Cemetery. Nic was a graduate of Central Hinds Academy and Hinds Community College. He was a valued employee at McHann Railroad Services. Nic loved anything to do with hunting or fishing. His family and friends will miss him greatly, especially his incredible smile. Nic is preceded in death by his grandparents, Sonny and Barbara Montgomery. Survivors include his fiancee, Carole-Anne Sistrunk of Clinton, his parents Brian and Jane McHann, brother Brad McHann(Brittany), and sister Barbara McHann all of Clinton. Other survivors include grandparents Bill and Annette McHann of Flowood, Rebecca Montgomery of Edwards, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Memorial contributions made be sent to the Clinton Challenger League, City of Clinton Parks and Rec Department, 200 Soccer Row, Clinton, MS 39056 or to the CJ Stewart Foundation, P.O. Box 2913, Madison, MS 39130.

I am very saddend to hear of this just now. Nic and I were very good friends from 4th grade. Nic was a outstanding friend, always offering to help or share in anyway he could. I remember playing pool at his parents house untill the wee hours and just having a great time. I hate that we lost touch and he will not be forgotten

Jane and Brian, please know that you and all your family are certainly in our prayers and on our hearts. Words cannot express the sorrow we feel at Nic's passing! Nicholas had already become such a treasured member of the Sistrunk family and we will never forget him and that sweet smile of his. We shall always remember and appreciate Nic and the love and respect he had for our sweet granddaughter, Carole Anne. He will certainly be missed by our family and we will cherish the happy memories of good times with him in our home. May God keep you close and give you the strength you need each day. I'm so very sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to Nic's friends and family. I have known the Montgomery family for many years and I also drove the school bus Nic rode in Junior High. He was always a sweet, loving boy. But there's not a doubt in my mind Mr. Sonny welcomed Nic with loving arms.
I'm so very sorry, Jane. I know nothing I say will ease your pain but just know God had greater plans for him.

Jane & Brian, I can't tell you how sad we are to learn of Nicholas' death. I remember him as a young boy at Pineview, and he had the sweetest, most beautiful smile. I don't think I have ever seen a photo of Nic and our granddaughter, Carole-Anne Sistrunk, where they both weren't smiling! Speaks volumes about how happy they made each other. Our hearts are broken... not only for Carole-Anne, but also Nic's family. Trusting God will give all of you strength of body and peace of mind, knowing Nic is in God's Hands.
