Rex, Jr. was a beloved friend of our family for so many years. My mother, Mrs. Myrtle Phillips, considered him and the whole family as our family as we attended church at Mendenhall FUMC together. Rex, Jr. and Barbara were our youth leaders when I was a teen and Momma and Barbara shared Bible study groups for so long. Rex, Jr. will be missed, but his beautiful family will be a legacy that will endure and I know that my parents and his parents have welcomed him with joy. We grieve his loss but rejoice in his eternal joy.
