I am so sorry to learn of Dr. Pavy's death. He was a dear man a wonderful physician to my two sons whom he treated after we moved to Lafayette in 1968. He was recommended to us by our physician in Navasota, TX. He was so kind and caring to my boys and me. He is in God's loving care.

Dr. Pavy was an icon, a true servant heart physician and friend! Our young family of three daughters was incredibly blessed to fall under his loving care. As a very young mother in the 1970's, this fine man was a beloved and faithful doctor, an encourager to my trials of early motherhood, a humble man who loved God and served whole heartedly. We truly loved him! It was a rare occasion to run into him randomly after our girls were grown, but even when he no longer recognized me, I reminded him that I knew him and thanked him for his caring love and support! Heaven is where our hope is to meet again! Praise be to God for the blessing of Dr. Pavy! He has run the race...well done good and faithful servant!

Your Father was the Davis Family pediatrician for many years. We were six children. To my Mother his word was law. Reluctantly, I had to leave him at age 15 after being in his care from age 3. He was always calm, gentle, and wise and had a wonderful sense of humor. Many children in Lafayette have him to thank for his judicious care. May he Rest In Peace.
