Samuel Fryant Obituary
Brandon
Samuel (Sam) Craig Fryant, Jr., 88, of Brandon died April 2, 2014.
He was born in Jackson, Mississippi on May 12, 1925 to S. C. Fryant and Mary Elizabeth Simmons Fryant. He attended Central High School in Jackson, Mississippi. He then attended the Naval Officer's Training School and the University of Texas in Austin. He married Thelma "Sis" Cameron Myers on July 16, 1949.
Sam was in the insurance and financial services business most of his career. He was an active member of Lakeside Presbyterian Church in Brandon, Mississippi.
Sam is survived by his wife Sis Fryant of Brandon; his sons Samuel Craig Fryant III (Susan) of Suwanee, GA; David Holt Fryant (Alison) of Brandon, MS; and Robert Paul Fryant (Ann) of Brandon, MS; his sister Mary Elizabeth Fryant Langford of Madison, MS.
Sam (Pappy) leaves 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be held at Lakeside Presbyterian Church in Brandon, MS on Friday, April 4, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. A visitation will be held before the service at 9:30 at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sam's memory to Lakeside Presbyterian Church or French Camp Academy.

Sorry we were out of town. Last time Sam and I spoke he stated "we are of an age where the best we can hope for is to go quickly and not linger in pain." Sam will be greatly missed.
